Well connected, with everything you need
Nestled in the heart of the Perth and Kinross-shire countryside, Athron Hill is an easy commute to Scotland’s main urban centres of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Stirling.
It’s located just past the village of Tillyrie, three miles north-west of Milnathort and a mile further from the pretty county town of Kinross, and easily reached via the M90.
Thanks to excellent transport links – soon to include a second Forth Road Bridge – Athron Hill is just a 25-minute drive from Dunfermline and Perth, and less than hour to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling.
Milnathort is your nearest village and has a post office, park, pubs, cafes, and a nine-hole golf course. Kinross, a ten-minute drive away, has all you’d expect from a large town including a leisure centre, medical facilities, specialist shops and a large Sainsbury’s supermarket.
There are plenty of schooling options in the area too, from independent schools, Dollar Academy, and Glenalmond College to the excellent new Kinross High School.
A wealth of outdoor activities can be accessed locally, including horse-riding, mountain-biking and fishing, to name but a few – and not forgetting golfing at the world-famous Gleneagles course.
